The structures of Power are shifting, and we need Leaders to lead in a way that is grounded, full of love and with the audacity & courage to lead others in this way. This moment is calling for a new cadre of Liberatory Leaders!

Liberatory Leadership is Movement work.

Liberatory leadership is rooted in the vision of individual and collective liberation of all people. It is deeply grounded in a social justice praxis and acknowledges the importance of the lived experience and historical context of marginalized and oppressed people globally. Liberatory Leadership uses an anti-oppressive approach that intentionally moves individuals from transactional change to a more embodied transformation. It introduces collective learning models; decentralized power practices; and fosters a culture of reciprocity and collective care. Liberatory Leadership is a revolutionary approach to being in better relationships with others.

Leadership work is the foundation of all our efforts.

Movement building work won’t just happen on the streets. It will and should happen in our homes, in our workplaces and in our businesses, with our peers, among our colleagues, co-workers, friends and all those we interact with everyday. Leading through a liberatory lens gives us an opportunity to renew our commitment to how we usher others through change; it offers an invitation into a vision for growth and transformation that can only come through building deeper and more sustainable relationships with those around us.

Liberatory Leadership is Healing Work

Liberatory Leadership requires a higher level of responsibility to yourself. How are we nourishing ourselves & supporting our body & nervous system through this moment? How are we building the tools, cultivating capacity & developing the necessary practices so that we can meet this moment with resiliency, groundedness & self determination?

This moment of collective grief and injustice requires us to build the capacity and spaciousness in our mind and body to help hold ourselves and each other through it. It is a prerequisite that you do not forget yourself.

Liberatory Leaders are born in times of high oppression.

Liberatory Leaders are born as a response to the old, archaic, top-down oppressive leadership models we’ve all operated under. The growth of liberatory-focused work during this time is no coincidence. The rise of Liberatory Leadership is a direct response to the deep oppression and repression we are all collectively experiencing right now, not only in global affairs but right here at home and in our own workplaces. This is a very natural response of those who love and feel deeply. Those who have a deep desire to redefine, reimagine and reposition themselves through their own leadership voice and identity, tapping into their own unique medicine instead of following someone’s else’s rigid and oppressive ways of leading.

Liberatory work moves well beyond theory: the magic of practice

Theory provides an anchor to the work but it is really through the practice and integration that the magic happens. When I work with leaders from across sectors I help them redefine and strengthen their leadership identity, learning to integrate their own unique values into their practice, organization, or business and develop their unique voice of authority so they can lead with a more embodied presence and show up in their life and in leadership with more power and conviction. I utilize a holistic liberatory approach that looks at the whole person; integrating identity work, body regulation and practical tools to help liberatory leaders cultivate self awareness and capacity in the body as we move through the more tangible and strategic work.

This moment requires new approaches to leadership. This is NOT business as usual. We are living through several genocides, massive uprisings. There is and has been a growing discontent with our failing systems, governments and institutions. This is a pivotal moment in which we are being called to lead differently, more intentionally, with more audacity and resolve. I invite you to work with me.

The Liberatory Leadership Lab is my desire to redefine, reimagine, and reposition Leadership

The leadership we have right now is not serving many of us. If we want something different, we need to be the ones who are willing to step up and revolutionize the leadership space. We need to be the ones who take our rightful place in this movement. Finding your role in this movement and revolution is critical. Finding your voice & leading with your unique gifts is necessary at this moment.The Liberatory Leadership Lab provides us with a path towards this shift.

This is called the Liberatory Leadership Lab. A direct, hands-on approach to rewriting, reframing and reimagining a new now & a new future in which leaders like you can rightfully position yourselves as the main protagonists in your own story.

💫 This moment truly requires Space Holders, Guides, and Leaders to sharpen their tools & develop new ones. New practices that can help withhold us through what we are witnessing.

💫 The collective trauma were going thru is not normal and we need a serious reorientation to how we relate and be in community with ourselves & one another.

💫 The Liberatory Leadership Lab will help us reposition what it means to lead through a more aligned lens, one in which we’re finding connectivity with each others as we help lead others through these very difficult times.
